Newtown, Mayan end-of-world rumors prompt Michigan officials to close 33 schools
Thu Dec 20, 2012
I'm embarrassed to admit that I live in Michigan. Normally it would be hard to believe that people would actually believe these ridiculous rumors, but the fact that keeping their children out of school takes priority over common sense, shows the level of ignorance here.

Kids at adult holiday parties? Kelsey Grammer did it at Playboy mansion
Mon Nov 26, 2012
If you can't get a babysitter, STAY HOME! Most people understand this, but Kelsey Grammer is a pompous jerk who thinks the world should be as enamoured with his kid as he is. There's a saying that applies here, "Consider the source".
How Wisconsin eluded Romney campaign
Wed Nov 7, 2012
Romney was not able to carry the state where he grew up (Michigan), or were he governed and resides (Massachusetts), nor could he carry his running mate's home state (Wisconsin). That is very telling because those who apparently know him best didn't trust him to run the country.
Campaign pause set to lift on Wednesday
Tue Oct 30, 2012
Regardless of how you felt about Obama before this disaster, now is not the time to change leadership given Romney's past positions on privitizing FEMA and leaving responsibility for natural disasters, and practically everything else, to the individual states.

Feds investigate phony letters warning Florida voters they're not eligible to vote
Wed Oct 24, 2012
This isn't "possible voter fraud". It couldn't be more fraudulent and blatent if it was signed by the republican party itself. The laws that permit donors to remain anonymous make it possible for these felons to operate clandestinely, and enable elections to be bought.
Santorum: Back Todd Akin in Missouri, despite abortion flap, if GOP wants to take Senate
Sat Sep 29, 2012
First the GOP tries to disassociate themselves from this moron, then they ask people to vote for him anyway, saying a republican moron is the better choice. Sounds like Akin isn't the only moron in the GOP.
Certain breast cancer drugs may hurt women's sex lives
Fri Sep 28, 2012
Small price to pay for your health. Sex isn't very good when you're dead either. Not a difficult choice to make.
Tax hikes a threat to charitable giving, say billionaires
Sun Sep 23, 2012
Give me a break! These greedy one percenters come up with every excuse in the book why they should not pay their fair share of taxes. If the working poor can give a higher percentage of their limited income to charity, I see no reason why it should impact a billionaire's standard of living.
